Will any of the four general categories list more than eight nominees at the 69th Grammys?

The rulebook fixes the Big Four at eight. The Academy expanded to ten in 2022 a day before the announcement, so it has happened before, once.

Resolves YES if Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year or Best New Artist lists nine or more nominees on the official list as first published.

Closes at 23:59 UTC on Sunday 15 November 2026. The nominations livestream starts at 7:45 a.m. ET on Monday 16 November and the full list follows on grammy.com; if the list is published before the close, trading stops at publication.

If the Recording Academy has not published the 69th nominations by 30 November 2026, voids and refunds.
