Will Circana name Grand Theft Auto VI the best-selling game of 2026 in the United States?

Six weeks on sale against a full year of Call of Duty, which has topped Circana's annual chart almost every year since 2009. GTA V managed it in 2013 from a September release. Circana ranks by dollar sales, and $79.99 helps.

Resolves YES if Circana's annual US report for 2026, as published by Circana or its analyst Mat Piscatella, ranks Grand Theft Auto VI first by dollar sales for the calendar year.

Closes at 11:00 UTC on Wednesday 18 November 2026, the hour the game first unlocks in New Zealand, so nothing here can be known before the close. Settles when the annual chart is published, by 31 January 2027.
