Will Grand Theft Auto VI win Game of the Year at The Game Awards on 10 December 2026?

Eligible by a day: the cutoff is 20 November. It is the favourite everywhere it is priced, but a three-week-old game has never won, and jurors will have had less time with it than with anything else on the list.

Resolves YES if Grand Theft Auto VI is announced as Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2026.

Closes at 11:00 UTC on Wednesday 18 November 2026, the hour the game first unlocks in New Zealand, so nothing here can be known before the close. Settles on 11 December 2026.

If the game is not nominated or the ceremony does not take place in 2026, voids and refunds.
