Will anyone publicly declare a run against Gianni Infantino for the FIFA presidency before 31 December 2026?

Infantino was re-elected by acclamation in 2023: nobody even stood against him. After a World Cup that made him more famous and more polarising than ever, the question is whether anyone dares put their name forward this time.
Resolves YES if, on or before 31 December 2026, any person publicly declares their candidacy for the next FIFA presidential election, in their own words or via a confirmed filing, as reported by at least two major international outlets (AP, Reuters, ESPN, BBC, or equivalent).

Settles on 1 January 2027, 23:59 ET.
The declaration must be a real candidacy for the FIFA presidency, not a hint, an exploratory remark, or a call for someone else to run. Whether FIFA later rules the candidate eligible does not matter; the declaration is the event.
