Unlike the other Nobels, the Peace Prize regularly goes to institutions (the Red Cross alone has won three times), and organizations have taken it roughly 30 times since 1901, most recently Nihon Hidankyo in 2024. This round, 79 of the 287 nominees are organizations, and one of them, Sudan's Emergency Response Rooms, tops several bookmaker boards.
Resolves YES if at least one laureate announced for the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize is an organization or institution rather than an individual person. A prize shared between a person and an organization resolves YES. A prize awarded only to individuals, however many, resolves NO.

Settles on the official announcement, scheduled for 9 October 2026, 11:00 CEST. Closes 8 October 2026, 23:59 CEST.
If the committee announces that no 2026 prize will be awarded, or no laureate has been announced by 31 December 2026, voids and refunds. If nobelprize.org is unavailable at settlement, voids.

people forget the peace prize literally just went to three organizations in the last decade, so yeah 17% is way too low.

peace prizes for groups solving actual problems feel underrated when single figures get the glory for way less work.
