Will Cristiano Ronaldo play for Portugal again before Euro 2028 starts on 9 June 2028?

On 30 September 2026 Ronaldo walked out of Portugal's camp in Copenhagen, a day after coach Jorge Jesus said he would not start against Denmark. It followed the first time in over 18 years he sat a whole competitive Portugal match on the bench. He says he will tell the Portuguese people "the truth" about why he left. He has 234 caps, he is 41, and he has not retired. Was Wales on 24 September his last game in the shirt?
Resolves YES if, before Euro 2028 kicks off on 9 June 2028, Cristiano Ronaldo plays any minutes for Portugal's senior men's team in an official match: a competitive fixture (UEFA Nations League, Euro 2028 qualifying or play-offs) or a FIFA-recognised international friendly.

Settles on 8 June 2028, 23:59 ET, or as soon as he plays. Matches at Euro 2028 itself do not count.
A call-up alone is not enough, and neither is sitting on the bench as an unused substitute: he has to come on the pitch. Testimonials, exhibition games and charity matches do not count. A retirement announcement does not settle this early, because players come back; only the deadline settles NO.
