Will Grand Theft Auto VI have a Metacritic critic score when The Game Awards nominees are announced?

Review copies are rumoured for late October and the embargo rumoured for before launch. If reviews are out before the nominations special, the jury had the game; if not, the nomination question above gets much harder.

Resolves YES if metacritic.com shows a Metascore for Grand Theft Auto VI on any platform at the moment the official 2026 nominee list goes live.

Source: the official 2026 nominee list at thegameawards.com/nominees, as first published, or the official nominations announcement on The Game Awards' YouTube or X accounts if the site lags. A nominee later withdrawn still counts as nominated.

Closes at 23:59 UTC on Sunday 15 November 2026. The nominees are expected on Monday 16 November at 9 a.m. Pacific; if they are published before the close, trading stops at publication and the market settles on the list.

If no 2026 nominee list is published by 30 November 2026, voids and refunds.
