Who will TIME magazine name its 2026 Person of the Year?
2mo left
Every December since 1927, TIME's editors pick the person who did the most to shape the year's news, for better or worse, and it is not always a person: 1982's pick was the computer, and 2025's went to a group, the "Architects of AI", after Donald Trump took 2024. Odds boards in July 2026 have no runaway favorite, which is rare for this award.
Resolves to the listed name if TIME's 2026 Person of the Year is that single named individual. If the title goes to any individual not listed here, resolves to "A person not named here". If it goes to a group, pair, movement, concept, or object, even one that includes a listed person as a member, resolves to "Not a single person (group or concept)".

the crowd's sleeping on this one, extremes never stick around in prediction markets so watch for the regression.
