Will ARM-powered PCs reach 30% of PC shipments by the end of 2026?
resolved NO
Chance over time
Apple went ARM years ago and Windows is trying. This asks whether the rest of the industry actually followed.
Resolves YES if a published quarterly shipment estimate covering any quarter of 2026 puts ARM-based systems at 30% or more of total PC shipments.
Source: quarterly PC shipment figures from Canalys or IDC, whichever publishes an ARM share first.
Settles on 2 August 2026, on the most recent figures available at that date.
Tablets and phones are excluded, "PC" means the desktop, notebook and workstation categories these firms report. If neither firm breaks out an ARM share, this voids and refunds.

most people sleep on how fast these things actually ship once the software catches up, and we're closer than the odds suggest.

way too pessimistic on arm's momentum, these things always overcorrect both ways and 10% feels like the panic bottom.

gonna bet against the arm hype train because everyone always overestimates how fast chip transitions actually happen lol
