FORESEE

What is a prop bet?

A side bet on something inside the event. Not who wins, the little stuff: first scorer, anthem length, coin toss.

Props are the fun aisle of the sportsbook, and the Super Bowl coin toss is their king: millions staked every year on an actual coin. Because prop markets are thin and casual, the prices are usually worse than the main lines, and the vig is heavier.

Here's the secret: a prediction market is basically all props. Every question on Foresee, from a box-office chart to a president's handshake, is its own market with its own honest percent. We just don't make you buy a game ticket first.

50/50

The most famous prop bet on earth is still, in the end, a coin.
