What is a sharp bettor?
A consistently profitable forecaster whose bets are worth copying. The opposite of a square.
A sharp wins over hundreds of bets, not one lucky night. Sportsbooks limit their accounts; prediction markets welcome them, because sharps are exactly who drags the percent toward the truth. The casual bettor who backs favorites and hometown teams is called a square.
You can spot sharps on any platform with public track records: steady profit, good calibration, boring bet sizes. On Foresee that's the leaderboard, and copying what sharp accounts do (small, patient, against the crowd's emotions) is a legitimate way to learn.
